For decades, enterprise systems were built for offices, not operations. Critical work was managed through paper, spreadsheets, and disconnected tools. Leaders had policies and reports, but limited visibility of whether work was being done safely, correctly, and by the right people.

As mobile devices made it possible to put powerful tools directly in the hands of frontline workers, we saw an opportunity to rethink how enterprise systems should work and we set out to realise that.
