This shift opened up the ability to move beyond office-based systems and embed workflows, data capture and decision-making directly into operations.
Most organisations and available products weren’t set up to take advantage of this capability. Systems remained fragmented. Processes were still designed around desktop access. Critical work in the field continued to rely on paper, spreadsheets and disconnected tools. The gap between defined processes and real-world execution remained.
We saw an opportunity to change that.
